Libby And Friends Chat About Some Things
Episode 17: Hot Tub Santa (Christmas Double-cast Part 2)

In this 'Salute to Christmas,' the boys from LAFCAST and Zer0cast pick up right where they left off in Zer0cast episode 2-5...basically nowhere. Trying to make things all Christmasy, Libby forgets what he had planned for the episode, and mutiny ensues. Franson starts gettin' all mad, Daniel drifts off into space, and Jon is left slack-jawed. Needless to say, this produces stimulating conversation, from Jon's dismissal of all underwear to a story of a young Franson's last stand with a fistful of candy canes. The episode comes to a roaring conclusion with some particularly disturbing holiday-themed Gun To Your Head questions, and classic Christmas movie reviews (in which we learn that Jon is the REAL Grinch.) All this, plus Franson's definition of the term 'reindeer job,' Libby's idea for a movie starring Santa, Hitler, and John Wayne, and Daniel's surprising zeal for TOM HANKS! Gather your family 'round the 'yule log' and give a listen to this very special holiday episode. Joyous!!!

Episode 16: Cannibalicious!

In this episode, Libby is joined by Jon Kelly of zer0cast as they embark upon another voyage of podcastical proportions. Talk begins with the three stages of Drunk Libby, and continues on with a frightening realization about the Twelve Days of Christmas. Libby starts railing on carolers out of nowhere, and Jon hammers out the technical details of Figgy Pudding bylaws. After that's over, the boys go on a fweeten-sized tangent about Jon's progeny, Eli, and Libby discovers who Jon's son's baby daddy REALLY is. Through no fault of his own, Libby presents himself as a pedophile, and moving quickly on, the two get all Mister Wizard about cell phones and brain cancer. After realizing that they don't "have-a-the-funny," they close with the laugh riot topics of cannibalism and Roseanne. Be sure to check out LAFCAST this Christmas Eve for a very special holiday episode. Abbondanza!

Episode 15: Dickens The Dog

In this episode, Libby and Franson are back again after a woeful couple months apart. Highlights include the invention of (and immediate apprehension toward) Sexual Golf, Libby's poetry reading of the works of Bon Scott, Franson's amazing entrepeneur turn with the invention of Drinkables, and Libby's conquering of the topic of "Celebrity Plane Crash Deaths." The episode's finest moment comes with an especially grievous misheard lyric. Music this week is absolutely not by CAKE. This week's episode is brought to you by Hostess. Here's humpin'!

Episode 14: Blarney Zone

It's the first of December!!! Which is why it's so appropriate to post this podcast from...October? Anyway, in this episode Libby is joined once again by the lovely Katherine Lewiston as they podcast where no man has podcasted before: Katherine's truck. The "mobile unit" proves to be a terrible place to podcast as the two get distracted by the sights and sounds of Phoenix Park, and Libby's lack of topics and Katherine's sudden sleepiness make this podcast one of the UNlegendary ones. Still worth a larf or two, however, as Libby and Katherine discuss a potential blockbuster Irish game show, as well as broach the topic of man-whoring in the streets of Eau Claire. Tune in next month or so for the next "weekly" episode. WootWoot!!!

Episode 13: Dickenstein (AKA The Devil's Argument)

In this episode, Libby is joined by Daniel Kelly sans brother Jon for the first time ever! Things get weird fast as Libby and Daniel try and define their relationship. Libby rapidly changes the subject by talking about his newfound love for Redbox(ing?) and the death of a ill-planned email address. The pair introduce a brand new segment to the cast, Gun To Your Head, and ridiculousness pours out from there...such as Daniel's flagrant Bear-worship, a frank discussion on how much one love's one's balls, and possible dinner dates with Louie Anderson and Martin Van Buren. The episode comes to a close with a review of a less-than-successful comic book movie (as most episodes do) and Libby's promise to someday Rebutt His Face. Titty-Tight!!!

Episode 12: Jewtopia

It's a Libby-Franson Double Deuce!!! In this episode, Libby is once more joined by Franson as they resign themselves to their scholastic fates. Franson proceeds to insult everyone possible as he comes up with a hilarious idea involving blackface, and Libby publicly acknowledges his over-use of a certain catchphrase, then proceeds to re-over-use it. The boys cut a raging swath over every topic imaginable, from epic outdoor urination stories to their hatred of the local Fox station. They create a tasty-sounding STD, pooh-pooh all over A.A. Milne, and FINALLY set the ground rules for "Defend Yo Face." Libby's terrible Irish Jewish accent sends this podcast to an early grave. Funnier podcasts to come in the coming weeks. Take That, America!

Episode 11: Sucky Poohs

In this summer wrap-up episode, Libby and Franson try to make up for their grievous absence by summarizing their busy summer lives (AKA making excuses for the lack of podcast), detailing Franson's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad life, and explaining how it was the BEST SUMMER VACATION EVER! The boys shift into storyteller mode, telling tales of broken bones, cars on fire, and a story long forgotten involving a pimp on his death bed. A review of a movie near and dear to Libby and Franson's hearts caps off this episode, as well as a promise of more regular podcasting to follow. Never Die!

Episode 10: Pleasant Puking

In this episode, Libby is joined yet again by the Super Kelly Bros. They begin the podcast in a twitteriffic way, as Libby tweets with glee over potential new followers. Quickly running out of things to say to each other, the team pulls out the ultimate conversation starter---vomit. The boys take a brief vacation to IstanCambodia, offer their endorsement of Gordino's Pizza, and try to emulate the sound of a strawberry bagel on the way back up. You'll SCREAM!!! as you are taken on a nightmare ride through the land of menengitis, mono and scabies, THRILL!!! as you vicariously live the Night of 12 Beers, and SCOFF!!! as Jon and Libby talk about their run-ins with the bourgeoisie of the Chippewa Valley. The episode craps out with some unexpected hostility towards Pixar. Dang, child!!!

Episode 9: Watermelon Face In this episode, Libby is joined once again by the lovely Katherine Lewiston as they gather 'round the apparatus for another brand spankin' new installment of LAFCAST. Things get shameful fast for Libby as he reveals the most embarrassing thing he has ever volunteered for, his ability to freestyle-fairy-dance, and a really good reason not to check your Facebook at 5 A.M. Katherine, meanwhile, discusses her deep-seated hatred for a first-grader named Joey, stretches the meaning of the word 'choreography,' and tells an epic tale revolving around freezie pops. The two amigos temporarily break the stringent 'no swearing' policy to describe their first profanities, Libby accidentally (then on purpose) offends Katherine's sister Eric, and the whole thing is rounded off with a revealing story about Katherine's parents that Libby swore not to talk about. Kashaba!

Episode 8: Bobbing For Babies In this long-delayed episode, Libby and Franson are comin' atcha from a brand new location! The episode begins on a wholesome note, with Franson encouraging us all to 'practice long, study hard'...however, talk quickly turns to celebrity death and racism. Before you know it, the boys turn their attentions to chastising suicide victims, adding to the rumor that asian people can fly, and wondering when exactly babies turn into people. Libby goes on to belittle all patrons of canine massage, and Franson reveals his desire to pee on a carpet. Later, the boys call out Drew Barrymore and Maggie Gyllenhall in the first installment of the brand new game show 'Defend Yo Face' and share with you a REAL LIVE E-MAIL straight from IronEagleRiverLakeMinnesotaTown, MN. Brought to you by Trekker's Trail Mix. Holla!
